Blurb:

Amanda Evans and Adam Anderson used to be best friends, that is, until he humiliated her during their junior year of high school. Ever since then, Amanda has done everything she can to avoid Adam.

Now, two years later, she’s stuck working on a neighborhood Christmas project with him. Could Amanda possibly move on from the past and give Adam another chance? Or will the holidays turn into a nightmare for these two ex-best friends?

Then another thought crossed my mind. Was this a sign from God? Was I supposed to forgive Adam after what he did?

Once again, I just want to say how PROUD I am of Faith for publishing her first story!! It's a huge accomplishment, and I'm so glad to be a part of that. 😊💕

#veryproud.

So, I need to "officially" start this review by saying that since this book is a novelette...I don't want to share too much and spoil it. 🙈 However, as usual, I will be sharing a few of my favorite parts/lines!

because i justttttt can't help myself.

I came downstairs for one reason: hot chocolate. I still wanted it too.

📖

“Do you want my help or not?” Adam finally asked.

📖

And if she would always be like this, forget about the crush.

📖

Ugh, it was him.
📖

“You’re an idiot,” she said before storming to the other side of the roof.

📖

I glared at him as I stomped over. I shoved a tangled wad of the lights into his chest. Without another word, I went back into the basement to retrieve the ladder.

have yet to watch this one...
but i wanted a christmas clapping gif, lol

Y'all, I really loved a lot of the dialogue between Amanda and Adam. Their snarky comments were just golden for me. Also, I loved Amanda's priorities of hot chocolate, Christmas movies, and cookies...the girl knew what was good, am I right?? Not to mention that she couldn't make paper snowflakes, and I TOTALLY get that! 🤣

As far as content goes: I think there was one curse word, but that's it.

All in all, this book was a cute Christmassy read about second chances and the importance of forgiveness. 🎄💖

~I received an e-copy of this story from the author, and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.~
